The family of a young boy who suffered life-threatening injuries after being hurled from the top floor of the museum have revealed their "courageous fighter" has reached his target of managing to run, jump, and swim anew.

The French boy was six years old when he was pushed off a balcony by a youth, then seventeen.

The boy, who was vacationing with the family in the summer of 2019 when assaulted, endured a 30-meter plunge but received life-changing wounds, like a cranial bleeding and shattered bones.

Parents said in an news on a fundraising site, they were delighted that he had been successful to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his forthcoming surgery.

"He is unable to do it as youngsters at his age, certainly, but we are unable to explain his movements in different terms than by calling it's jumping, swimming, and running."
