Vince Zampella, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The renowned video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
