Sir Keir Starmer to Urge Supporting Countries on Advanced Missile Systems for Ukraine at UK Gathering
The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge supporting countries to provide Ukrainian forces with more advanced missile systems to hit Moscow's positions during talks in the UK capital on Friday.
Sir Keir is set to welcome President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside the so-called "group of committed partners", consisting of more than 20 of supporting nations who have pledged to provide Ukraine defense assurances once a ceasefire is arranged.
Zelensky has been urging for several weeks for more long-range weapons from Western nations, an action that Russia has stated would intensify the hostilities.
