The House investigative committee has released a batch of approximately 70 images from the estate of late found guilty individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third publication from a cache of in excess of 95,000 photographs the body has obtained from Epstein's holdings. It features images of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured images of female overseas passports.

This action comes just hours before the December 19th deadline for the Department of Justice to make public all files associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These new images pose further inquiries about precisely what the Department of Justice has in its holdings," said the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photos Released

Several of the images published on this week depict Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates seen next to a female whose identity is censored; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the newest wealthy, prominent figures to be seen in Epstein property photographs disclosed by the committee - formerly released photos also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Appearing in the images is not proof of any illegal activity, and a number of the pictured men have stated they were never participating in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release accompanying the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not offer explanatory details or timings for the images.

"Images were chosen to offer the general populace with openness into a representative sample of the images obtained from the property, and to offer understanding into Epstein's circle and his exceptionally alarming actions," the release says.

The publication also contains multiple photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in dark ink across different parts of a woman's body, such as her upper body, feet, hip, and rear. Lolita recounts the story of a minor who was groomed by a older literature professor.

An example of a quote from the novel written across a female's chest says, "Lolita: the end of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of photos of women's identification and identification documents from nations worldwide, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the IDs, including identities and dates of birth, is censored but the committee indicated in a announcement that the travel documents pertain to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were engaging".

Another photo depicts Epstein sitting at a table in close proximity surrounded by three women whose features have been censored - one has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his clothing, and a second is bending to look at a close-by device. Epstein seems to be aiding the final person fasten a wristband.

A further image made public is a screenshot of digital messages from an unnamed person who states they have been supplied "several females" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Photo Disclosure Comes Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The panel has thousands of photos in its custody from the Epstein property, which are "at once explicit and ordinary," its press release on Thursday clarified.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein property submitted to the panel are separate from what is often termed "the Epstein files". Those are records under the DOJ's custody connected to its separate investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the Transparency Act, which the President signed into law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its files. The full nature of the contents found in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's probable that a large amount of the information will be extensively censored, comparable to Congressional releases
