In a bizarre partnership that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
